| The Stewards |
Stewards have a very important
role to play. They guard the doors to the sanctuary,
not just physically, but spiritually as well. They
are the embodiment of servitude, there to serve the
needs of the entire congregation.
Stewards are responsible for collecting the
offering, distributing tithing envelopes, bulletins
and visitor's cards. Their job is meet the needs of
whoever is in the congregation.
Stewards maintain order during deliverance and other
sensitive times in service. They greet you at the
door and make you feel welcome. Surely the church
couldn't function without these diligent watchmen
and watchwomen, headed by Cherry-Ann Pilgrim |
