The Spirit of Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus (Revelation 19:10). This is an anointing arising from Christ within the believer. It manifests on occasions when there is a special release of the anointing or when Christian's faith allow them to bring the testimony of Christ.

The Spirit of Prophecy causes ANYONE to prophesy. This can happen under the following circumstances.

• In an awesome prophetic presence
• When in the company of prophets
  (1 Samuel 10:10, Numbers 11:24-30)
• When challenged by a minister to let God testify through you by the Spirit of Prophecy.

Persons that prophesy under these circumstances should not conclude that they have the gift or the office of prophecy.
